The Divide Completes Principal Photography

EL DORADO COUNTY, CALIF. - The Divide, a feature film from director Perry King and Left for Dead Productions, recently wrapped principal photography in the Gold Country of California. Set in drought-plaqued Northern California in the summer of 1976, The Divide is the story of aging rancher Sam Kincaid (King), who has begun to show signs of memory loss. Sam is helped by the arrival of migrant ranch hand Luke Higgins (Bryan Kaplan), who struggles to keep Sam's life together, while managing his own turmoil. They two are joined by Sam's independent-minded daughter, Sarah (Sara Arrington), and her son, C.J. (Luke Colombero). The main cast is rounded out by cowboy Tom Cutler (Levi Kreis).

The Divide is so far more than four years in the making through a collaboration between screenwriter Jana Brown and actor/director Perry King. The two were joined in pre-production last year by director of photography Russ Rayburn.

Scheduled for release sometime in 2016, The Divide is now in post-production. Follow us on Facebook for updates as the process progresses.
